  • Today I was–and this is the only way I have thought of to make it very specific–fucking pooped. I had no idea just how drained I was until I woke up at 5:00 p.m. (I fell asleep around 1:30.) (Yes, my friends, that is an amazing fifteen and a half hours of sleep.) I’m now in New York, and here for four months. That’s still sinking in. It’s crazy. And phat. I’m so psyched, especially because I’ll get to see most of my friends at some point during that time, which isn’t the case for most people’s study away. And because I just sent in my final Bitty paper, which leaves me with just work for G and MSVL.

Now I’m off to hang with Tebben and Haylee, waiting for Manshka to return from the OG. Then we gonna celebrate my New Yorker status.

To all ya’ll camping–have fun and burn lots of shit.

    To all ya’ll graduating–fuck ya’ll.

    (Just kidding. Congrats.)

  • First of all, please never use the “word” phat ever again.

Second, the aforementioned MSVL gave a great address at the baccalaureate service on Friday night. Look for a transcript or recording. I should really take a class with her; I’ll have to see what second semester looks like.

And about burning shit: you’ll have to see the pictures. Our FIRE (Cap’n's right on this one) even had a fuse. And we did indeed burn lots of shit. More than we intended to even. Plus, we got the ranger to come. That makes us two for two with after-finals outings and run ins with the cops.
